150 cases of sexual abuse at Swedish festivals

Over 150 cases of sexual abuse at Swedish festivals has been reported to the police this summer.

In recent years, the number of sexual assaults at festivals has exploded. The popular Bråvalla festival announced this summer that they will cancel next years festival due to the increased number of reported sexual assaults.

Statistics from the Swedish police show that at least 150 cases of sexual abuse at festivals this summer had been reported, Metro reports.

The abuse and assaults of women and girls at the festivals are often commited by persons of non-Swedish background.
